I like Ian Happ. He’s a fantastic perennial 3-4 WAR gold glove left fielder. But Yordan is a serious contender for the best pure bat on Earth
The_Zhuster
Im guessing Wyatt Langford is qualifying for Center Field then?
snarkicon
Well that’s a bit of a conundrum for us, methinks

Ian Happ above Chourio.
I know exactly which Ian Happ-hating, Chourio-loving uncle is getting sent this image immedately.

Teo should be ranked here.
Edit: nvm his ops+ last year is worse than I remember, I just meant he should be ranked in left field not right field

Boston having 2 left fielders is crazy considering how small LF is at Fenway, there’s barely enough room for one guy out there at time let alone too
Crazy
John_6_47
Alvarez should be higher. He’s a legitimate top tier (not counting Judge/Ohtani) hitter

I mean, knowing how the shredder works, this makes sense

Ummm, what?

Brandon Marsh ahead of Steven Kwan? Tyler Soderstrom?
Dave Dombrowski is behind this, isn’t he?
WoodpeckerTrick3290
I’m just going to say it, putting 1 guy who barely plays LF and another who is terrible in LF and is really a DH over Jackson Chourio is disrespectful.
GCIV414
One of these guys is about to 20/20 for his third straight year but is only ranked 9th lol I think The Shredder didn’t vote for Belichick either

Roman Anthony good

Man I love Kwan but this list is fairly stacked this year. Issue is that it’s hard to argue how much defense should affect the perception of corner OF, because he is the best in LF, but it’s a non premium position. By WAR he probably deserves top 10 but his bat was below average last year.

Happ just continues to bang out 3-4 WAR year after year.
Fuckin love that guy.

In my completely unbiased opinion, Yordan is #1. But I do think he should be above Happ and Wood for sure. Hope he stays healthy.

Chourio at 9? Yikes.

I feel like Ian Happ’s reputation with fans (including Cubs fans) really suffers from just being kinda boringly above average at everything.

How is Marsh the homeless meth head on this list?

Brandon Marsh over Teoscar Hernandez? FOH

Well, it makes sense since you need two guys stacked on top of each other if you want to defend the Monster effectively
jonpictogramjones
James wood feels a bit low to me, yordan should be higher, and not having kwan here is pretty crazy

i remember going into a year Adam Duvall was on this list

Jarren Duran voted most likely to turn into Andrew Benintendi
