God I wish they would localize one of these again
I wish they’d bring back the MLB version. It was only two iterations, but those games had legitimate depth and real charm. There’s a fun, deep game under the facade.
the success mode was also ingenious and so replayable. Not to mention the career mode and the decent, albeit limited franchise mode. Games were quick enough that I recall actually playing the full 162 lol. I wish I knew Japanese 🥲
Man I wish Power Pros were release in the West again, these games are so much fun…
If you’re looking for a good baseball sim that’s not The Show, Super Mega Baseball 4 is really solid. It’s technically an EA game, but the first 3 games in the series were independent and it’s a great sim even if it looks a lil cartoony. Plus this iteration has MLB legends, where they have license to use HoF and HoVG guys to round out the in-game roster (plus custom players).
