Man. That 2015 Royals team is one of the most fun teams I’ve ever watched. 12 year old me thought it was so cool to have a team approach the game that way. I’ve always loved specialists and role players and Gore was one of the first examples of that for me in baseball, and to such an extreme degree that I naturally gravitated towards him even as a neutral fan. RIP.
