He probably wasn’t, but growing up a white Sox fan I saw Verlander too much and it felt like he was the first starter that consistently hit triple digits. Was an absolute freak to watch and hope he gets a good farewell tour if that’s what this last year is

I always forgot how long Verlander was a Tiger, I was more casual back then. It felt like we had him for a long ass time, but its nothing compared to Detroit.

i was in attendance for his no-hitter against milwaukee in 2007. the most exciting live sporting event i’ve ever been to. i’m glad he’s back
