Just a reminder of something the MLB doesn’t want us to know – it is **not** illegal to watch a pirated stream. It is illegal to host or share a pirated stream, but there is nothing illegal/wrong about just watching pirated streams regularly. There are 0 laws against and 0 examples of people being prosecuted or fined for watching pirated streams.

And it is not hard to find streams. Just google search « MLB streams » and you’ll find the results. I recommend using an adblocker.

I get that MLB will be attempting to replace the RSN revenue streams, but this is ridiculous.

  5. But they added a +, it must be worth double right? lol

Downvote me or whatever but 60 bucks for radio broadcast of every single MLB/MiLB is still not a bad deal at all. Plus the addition of MLB network

It’s totally worth it. No more blacked out audio feeds *lifts finger to ear* I am now hearing that there was never any blacked out audio feeds.

That actually sounds like a pretty good deal for MLB Network, Big Inning, minor league games, and radio broadcasts.

Get a T-Mobile code off of slick deals for $10-15.

I think it was in the Ken burns doc, but they said baseball literally is America. Everything good or evil is represented in this game, and the history of the country has had so many parallels in the sport as time has progressed

All this to say, as America forces people to deal with a worse world that costs more, all in the name of corporate profit, so does baseball

Can someone help me understand: It’s listed on Google Play as MLB+ Yearly for $19.99 on my auto-renewal. What’s the difference between what I’m looking at and what OP posted?

Just another reminder for the folks thinking MLB distributed media won’t be worse than the current RSN framework are just jumping the gun. I’ve seen folks cheer for the end of MASN so that they can switch to MLB without understanding they’re subjected to the same blackout rules and will need to pay the same amount to “legally” watch it.

Whether it’s MLB or a RSN, you will be paying for it because it’s a large chunk of their revenue stream.

6 bucks a month for MLB Network would be pretty good if MLB Network was good

    Just a heads up:

T-Mobile customers will be selling thousands of Extra Innings codes on eBay for like $30. That’s what I did last year, well worth it.

If you only care about radio broadcasts of MLB teams, consider getting Sirius XM. It’s very easy to find (or ask for) a $5 a month deal, and you get every game on a car radio* and streaming, and MLB Network Radio, and pretty much every other major league sport streaming. All without any blackouts. Plus other music and talk stations.

I think the SXM app handles streaming games better anyway. It shows the current score and you can skip to any half inning. And you don’t get the same oppo taco ads over and over, instead I usually get the local ads mostly with a few repetitive SXM ones.

The only issue is they are pretty predatory about cancelling. Have to do a live chat and keep turning down their offers. It’s very annoying I get it.

Edit: usually only a national or home team feed is on the satellite radio. All feeds are on the app.

I just checked my Google Play account subscriptions and they’re gonna charge me $29.99 for MLB+ as my annual recurring subscription on March 30, same as last year
