Dodgers strike me as a team that take care of end of career legends well so I think he will end up finishing off in LA. In addition unless Will Smith’s knees turn into dust by that time, there’s no one who can COMPLETELY take over that role (pending the performance/growth of Dalton Rushing)

Let him go back to Atlanta and DH or some shit.

Yea right, Freddy. We all know you are coming to the Jays.

  4. It’s crazy to think that Freddie has actually been MORE productive with LA (151 OPS+) than with the Braves (138 OPS+) despite being in his age 32-35 seasons.

    HoF’er for sure.

Me after 2020: Number 5 is going to be retired someday. He’s a Dodger legend and WS MVP

Insert obligatory comment about his teeth

Braves fans are gonna be real angry when he goes into the HOF with a blank cap

He’d need to average a little over 142 hits a year over that span to get to 3,000, so he has a shot but it’ll probably be pretty close. Potential missed games next year doesn’t help.

I know I know this may be cope, but I do feel like he’s going to finish his career in Atlanta and do the retirement tour like Tom Glavine and Brian McCann did.

“If I were to keep playing, I’d like it to be from the team that can offer me a millionty bajillion dollars for one year, rather than the 29 teams who wouldn’t”
