Im gonna get downvoted but I’ll admit my ignorance here – I’m not sure I get why everyone says Arte doesn’t care. It seems to me he prioritizes game day prices with high payrolls? But he’s just dumb with money? Is that right? I get they lack a prospect pool because they try to bring up any prospect that shows promise in the hopes they can compliment Mike trout, but the angels seem to be able to bring in talent, they just can’t win with the talent?

I feel like Moreno is a bad owner but at the very least pays for sizable payrolls.
None of the Pujols, Rendon, Trout, Hamilton or CJ Wilson contracts have worked out but you’d never see the Pirates or Reds giving that type of money.
So I think he cares but just sucks at being an owner and keeps hiring the wrong people
