Sounds like we are giving the state of Colorado a little taste of freedom

  3. I’m here for the schadenfreude. A Rockies win would make me sooo happy.

This is going to get ugly.

Just noticed that Eric Karros’ (former Dodger great) kid is playing 3B for the Rockies. That’s pretty cool.

  5. The Rockies have the chance to do the funniest thing ever

Another day of praying for no injuries. Hate this tournament.

Each of these lineups has 1 first overall pick so I’d say they’re evenly matched.

To be the best you have to beat the best baby

God please let the Rockies win because it would be so funny, like when the Dream Team lost to a bunch of college kids before they went to the 1992 Summer Games

  10. Mark my words, this match will be remembered in history for the start of the actual Rocktober!

Why are they playing MLB teams? Very confused about this

Reminds me of when Randy Johnson faced Dae-Sung Koo. « The biggest mismatch in baseball history!! »……

    He hit a double

Man, I don’t like Team USA’s chances here.

It’s a shame the US can’t field a lineup with more star power, Ernie Clement and a buncha nobody’s… /s

Baseball is a team sport. Yes, Team USA has tons of talent but they have to figure out how to work together on defense (2nd and SS have to know each other’s styles). I’m sure Freeland will be stressed facing those batters. Goodman is a good catcher and knows the NL hitters pretty well.

A NPB team beat Team Japan but that doesn’t mean they become the national team. Link [here](https://japantoday.com/category/sports/baseball-kikuchi-roughed-up-early-ohtani-hitless-as-japan-loses-to-orix). The final out at home was exciting and high baseball drama. Ohtani stood at the dugout clapping even though they lost.

I hope Freeland doesn’t start a fight if one of Team USA looks at their home run too long.
