He was fucking awful from the jump and stayed that way all through the game. As I stated in the game thread, it was so bad I suspected a medical issue lol.
Hopefully someone makes him aware of how awful he was. Can he be removed from Umpiring future group or knockout games?

Not saying he’s the reason Taiwan lost, but he is certainly a factor. he absolutely sucks. In such an important game, having an umpire that biased against Taiwan really sucks

Throwback night to the 90s for umpires, I guess.

Watched the game last night and it’s clear the impact (particularly to CT) was greater than the scorecard calls out. The biggest problem was consistency, there was no rhyme or reason to what was or wasn’t a strike, so batters were adjusting and getting awful swings and poor contact.
Australia’s SP had very mediocre stuff last night and ended with 5 consecutive strikeouts
