I know this wasn’t an underdog story, but considering the Dominican Republic has managed to get grouped in TWO out of the FIVE previous World Baseball Classics, I will still celebrate this qualification.

RD drowning in pools in ’23 was extremely funny yet clearly a fluke due to their stacked group of death. Now that they don’t have to contend with both Venezuela *and* Puerto Rico we’ve gotten the much more logical result lol
