One time I was visiting Tokyo with some friends and we were walking around a neighborhood and some girl just started absolutely losing it screaming and crying. Like, we thought somebody had gotten attacked levels of freaking out.
Turns out it was just some teenage girl who had gotten her favorite character or singer or whatever out of a gachapon machine. To this day, I still wish I cared as much about almost anything as that girl felt about winning her gachapon.
