Finals week for the WBC must be such an incredible experience, no need to travel and you’ll get to see the almost all the best squads in the world in the span of 5-7 days.

I would want the team that beat me to win it all every time so I can claim second best.
Unless it’s the Giants.

I was at the game today in Miami. There was as a Japanese couple in front of me studying the Venezuela program (in Japanese) during the game against Italy. Isn’t baseball the best?

Dude, that’s freakin Kenshi Sugiya (one with the patterned polo shirt) at the start of the video, Kenshi Sugiya was also Shohei Ohtani’s former teammate with the Hokkaido Fighters in Japan’s NPB. He was there along with Ernesto Mejía to watch the game.
**EDIT:** [Here’s Kenshi Sugiya (removed his same patterned polo shirt in this image) with Ernesto Mejía hugging each other before the game.](https://imgur.com/a/a3WDNAy)

Japanese are great sports and absolutely acknowledge and respect when a team is better than them. I work at the stadium, lots of Japanese fans rocking Venezuela gear.
