When has Aaron Judge ever been referred to a BAJ?

  2. T_Raycroft

Wish this included past players so that we may talk about Mac The Ninth once more.

  3. Worried-Lettuce6568

Bryce really didn’t use enough sunscreen when he was younger damn

  4. chowdahhead13

I think as Red Sox fans we need a better one than the pig

  5. PatienceDifferent607

Jung-hoo Lee’s nickname gets even better when you know that his father was known as « Son of the Wind » for his speed as a player.

  6. noahlylesusa

Millville Meteor is such a cool old-timey nickname. I can hear the 30s Transatlantic accent yelling “The Millville Meteor does it again!” on a radio broadcast.

  8. reptheevt

I actually like Mike Imanaga II more as a nickname

  9. ExpirjTec

« grandson of wind » is the hardest shit ever

  10. CanadianSyrup1994

I’ve been calling him « Pornstar Yellich » since the allegations a decade ago lol

    Some of these are stinkers.

The Pig? BAJ? Snellzilla? We can’t be pretending those are the same tier as Grandson of the Wind, Millville Meteor, or Pasquatch.

Edit: no shade to Tatis Jr. and El Niño… but I feel like there’s like 10 El Niños in the league rn.

No mention of Felix Bautista aka “The Mountain”?

  16. Bobson-_Dugnutt2

El Mago is the best and I won’t accept any naysaying

  17. Fuzzy-Heart

Yeah, I’m not calling Aaron Judge that.

Also, “The Judge” is right fucking there.

  18. beef_is_here

I’m sorry, but as a man of a certain age I can’t get on board with Machado being called the minister of defense. That name belongs to Reggie White, and Reggie White alone.

In the list those I liked the most are « El niño », « La Bestia », « The Password », « The Throwing Philosopher » and « Grandson of Wind »… But my favorites of all times are « The Big Hurt », « The Big Unit » and « The Ryan Express ».

Jimmy Lumber – James Wood is personal favorite of mine.

  21. Thrill0728

Ive heard of Shotas, Alonsos, Pasquantinos, Cal’s, and Javys. That’s literally it.

And yes, Imanagas is real. Kind of hilarious going from the Professor to the Philosopher.

  22. MrNiceGuy1999

Billy Butler of the Royals had a good nickname years ago, « COUNTRY BREAKFAST »

  23. TomatoRemarkable3721

I thought he was the Italian breakfast

  24. Jantokan

Grandson of the wind is honestly the best here, especially knowing the context that Jung-hoo Lee’s father, is nicknamed ‘Son of the Wind’

  25. FranklinHippo

    No love for the Brewers.

How could you forget Jackson “bowl of” Chourio?

Or Craig Yoho “and a bottle rum?

Or the ever-classic Aaron “not my uncle” Ashby?

These nicknames brought to you by Chris Berman.
