Clearly did. You never see this called. Love the ump for the balls to make it
Swimming_Elk_3058
It’s amazing the Phillies pitching is as good as it is when the defense is constantly making things as difficult as possible for them.
Why is Realmuto even making this throw with a runner on third and just gifting the Nationals a run?
Former-Sea-8070
Good call!
Electrical_Yard_284
Impressive call by the ump here.
OutsideSession6
This is a very mild example of a push off. This consistently happens at second much more egregiously and does not get called. Won’t be mad if they consistently call it this way all year but I had my doubts
Albie9
Lmao he literally did indeed push him off the bag
magikarp2122
So glad to finally see that called for a change.
IMissM0dernBaseball
There was so much chaos on that play
darkrat1234
Love they called this. I have seen far worse « dislodging » of base runners than this that should have been called but didn’t.
Jtd1988
Lol come on. So as a Fielder, you cannot touch the baserunner because you may actually push them from your momentum? Review this stuff too.
GuyOnTheMike
A call you don’t see made a whole lot, but I do like it. Harper didn’t do anything egregious, but the motion that caused the runner to come off was a *little* bit more than just a swipe tag where he popped off, so I can get behind it
legendkiller003
I mean, clearly.
realfakejames
Good call ump
Ok_Card9080
Yeah, he got that right. Nice call, and way to be on top of it. He could have easily been staring off into space
Cardboard_Real
Definitely did. Probably wasn’t the intention but you can’t be like « look his hand came off » when you accidentally caused that.
ShhweadyBallz
Anything bad happening to Philly/ Bitch Harper is excellent for MLB
Informal_West_6864
Good call. Wasn’t a “cheating” type play by Harper. Just got him off the bag and great call by ump
slender_goron
I will admit to being a biased Phillies fan, but I literally do not understand what is happening at all. Is it kinda like the catcher not being able to block the plate?
DtownBronx
That last angle is about as clear as you can possibly get. It’s not like Harper did anything malicious or intentional but it’s still the right call
Kingdom818
That’s outrageous!
*watches replay*
Nice try, Bryce.
lakerconvert
What is Bryce even arguing 😂
CaffeineAndGrain
I don’t think it was intentional, just the force of moving fast, but that was the right call. Really looks like he glove forced the runner’s hand off the base
MountainMankind307
Oh god, of all the players who don’t need to be given any reason to whine about nothing…
fakeplasticsnow
In his next AB after this Harper came out to the Cops theme song. No futher comment…
tinathefatlardgosh
Who was in that one classic clip egregiously pushing Ron Gant off 1st?
Meatek
Typical dirty Phillies play
Few_Inside5009
What the hell was that slide though
Gumbie84
Where was this ump in the 91 World Series when Kent Herbek picked up Ron Gant’s leg and set him off the base?
My_Username48
Playing dirty.

Meatloaf_Regret
Review it. Then the runner on third goes back to third. *right?!*
GuerrillaKilla
Good, let’s start calling this at second
Intelligent_Trichs
Good call. He did bump it hard enough to push it off.
Weep4Thee
What? Another bad call from a mlb umprire? I’m shocked.
mikeyb1
He did. It wasn’t intentional, but he did. Good call.

He [may have] got the leg, on the initial tag
I mean, he did?
