this is just the kind of pure, magical ritual that could send us back to the good timeline

Bro those tosses are not even close my goodness, Megill might take some extra pfp tomorrow.

  3. This is baseball. I’m so glad a team is playing small ball. This is how you win. Good for them and I hope this practice catches on

Yes I love bunting. More bunts.

Might just need to get the out at first there Megill lol

  5. Small ball ownage from THE fourth best slugging team so far in 2026. Someone must have realized if you bunt it right at megill he has no idea what to do

  6. Nondescriptsitch

Why does it look like Megill is trying to aura farm these bunts lmfao

Honestly this is more entertaining than our guy hitting three bombs tonight. Love small ball.

Also love Joey touching home with one finger.

I’m not a regular Megill watcher but is this a known thing with him? Like does he have a reputation for being an awful fielder?

Favorite inning of the year so far oh my god

Would not be surprised at all if everyone started bunting against « Wisco » this season, after watching this absolute blunder of an inning

Oh fuck yeah, I love me some small ball.

    No but seriously, I do.

    Also, phrasing.

This type of baseball is just so baseball to me I love it

I imagine the crowd is booing their own team for not being able to figure out how to defend the bunt

OK, who loaded up Ken Griffey Jr.’s Winning Run for the SNES?

This is messed up. Its like when your team in little league used to bunt against the fat kid pitching who couldn’t field.

« Home runs are easy, they take no skill. But what I do? bunting & stealing bases? Now that takes skill »

i feel like bunting is still just super underrated and the only reason we don’t see it much, much more often is because players still have a weird aversion to it for being unfair or unmanly or something

  19. I see so many third basemen play so deep these days. If you have a right handed pitcher (momentum takes him toward first) and a deep third baseman, bunt away! Let’s go small ball! The same could apply to a first base bunt, with a lefty.

Genuinely wtf on the last bunt. That’s gotta be the worst fielding attempt I’ve ever seen on a big league field
