Sad to see Sproat go but Freddy is an absolute beast and Myers helps this rotation a lot. I’m sure Cohen will be looking to extend Peralta. Now go get Framber on a short high AAV to put a cherry on top.

Not bad at all considering they have the money and should be able to sign him to a deal after this coming season. So that will make it better for the Mets.
I mean, think of the Cubs giving up talent to get Tucker to come to town for ONE season when they knew they weren’t going to be able to resign him.
Now, had the Cubs actually been one good player away, maybe, but they weren’t. Twas a boneheaded decision to give up talent for just one year of Tucker.
Could Peralta leave after this coming season? Sure, but it’s not like the Mets won’t be able to sigh him if they really want him.
