Cubs lineup looks very solid with Bregman slotted in the 2 hole. I’ll be interested to see which half of last season PCA can replicate. The back of the Cubs rotation will be interesting too. Can Cabrera, Imanaga, and Taillon stay healthy and be as good as they can be? Reds and Pirates feel like very similar teams. Offense should be entertaining and the pitching should be good especially the top of those rotations. Brewers look like the Brewers. Can they replicate last season’s offense? The pitching should be as solid as ever. Lastly, the Cards look like hot garbage with a couple midseason trade candidates mixed in. The young guys and the Dustin May reclamation project could be fun.

I hope the actual left side of our infield does not correspond to this projection. 🙏🏻Also, unless there’s a trade, or the pitching lab *really* goes brrrrr…… with Harrison, I’d expect to see Gasser ahead of him.

NL Central looking exciting as a whole. Pirates looking to be competitive, Reds having some sizzle, of course the Brew Crew will have a trick or two up its sleeve as will the Cubs and the Cardinals are finally on their rebuild. This should be fun.

The Pirates lineup could actually be really good. After last year it’s a shock to look at it and see 6 guys that make me think « oh he can hit ».
