Ce n’est qu’un entraînement au bâton, mais voici cinq swings de Munetaka Murakami. Premier swing : HR au centre. Quatrième swing : HR vers la gauche. Cinquième swing : RH à droite.

I don’t think anyone has concerns about the power

Best Japanese Hitter in the MLB? Sho-who?

I’ll set the O/U on strikeouts at 185

People were way too down on this kid, yes the contact rates are somewhat concerning but he’s still super young and the raw power alone gives him a high ceiling. He’s about to ball out in Chicago
Disused_Yeti
well he didn’t strike out in batting practice, all concerns about that are taken care of!

The other players protested, but Murakami insisted on choosing the music for his BP time.

It seems like he is pretty good at doing that. White Sox are taking a pretty massive risk tho. We really haven’t seen Japanese players prove themselves here in the USA so who knows if that massive investment will pay off.

He reportedly has like 80 power so not surprising. Curious how he does during this season though.

By my math, dude’s gonna hit 300 home runs this season.
Every pitcher just has to throw it right down the middle.

Well wtf happened on the other two swings??!!?

Good first impression but I’m confident Temu Ohtani could do this as well.

I love that he went to the White Sox
