(Craig Calcaterra) Hier, les Texas Rangers ont érigé une statue d’un policier ségrégationniste au Globe Life Field. Une statue qui a été retirée du domaine public en 2020 en raison de son passé raciste. mlb.com a refusé de commenter.

Texas gotta Texas. When people tell you who they are, believe them.

I won’t let Ray Davis kill my fandom. But can people please start making noise to put the pressure on his old racist ass

Most teams are apolitical but whether it be having a no restrictions and no mask Opening Day during COVID, no “Pride Night”, anti-clean energy propaganda from ownership, and now this statue showing off “police strength”, it’s clear what side the Rangers are on and who they want to support them as a team

Only team that still doesn’t have a pride night btw (Yes the Yankees were very late to the party but at least they have one now)

The team named after a genocidal police force is racist?

If you want a statue of a Texas Ranger, why not pick one that’s actually in their hall of fame
