   Some lore: Pitcher Koki Kitayama was tasked by Ohtani to come up with a new celly, and Kitayama came up with the idea to make it tea ceremony themed. The first one was tried out in the exhib. game vs. the Buffaloes but wasn’t well received so this was a second attempt to replace Lars Nootbaar’s wildly popular « pepper grinder » celly from 2023.
