Is it just me or was this a very poorly managed game by Taiwan?
Leaving Giljegiljaw on the bench against a lefty starter (.862 OPS or something) while you have a bunch of lefties with OPS in the .600s in the lineup.
Leverage innings you play a guy with a 5.34 ERA in the CPBL when you have mid 90’s arms sitting there waiting.
Then for your big at-bat to end the game you put in a lefty to face the sidearmer, who happens to have a .634 OPS.
I don’t know all their players but it seems like they made the worst possible move at every turn.
The strike zone was very weird today.
