J’ai bousillé mon horaire de sommeil pour regarder le Japon, une perte déchirante mais un gros effort. Regardez le match contre le Chinese Taipei quelques heures plus tard, une défaite déchirante et malchanceuse en manches supplémentaires. Et si ce jeu n’était pas assez tendu avec des va-et-vient, ce jeu n’était que du cinéma.
À plusieurs reprises, j’ai cru que la Corée avait réussi à se qualifier pour les quarts de finale, et à plusieurs reprises, j’ai cogné ma chaise de frustration. Pourtant, cette équipe a toujours le courage et la détermination nécessaires pour aller jusqu’aux derniers instants. Ugh… Je ne vais pas pouvoir dormir ce soir à cause de la montée d’adrénaline.

As a fan of Korea, I always felt like Korea in one way or another, was the laughing stock of world baseball. Although we are globally recognised as a baseballing nation we hadn’t made it out of pool play since 2009, and made dumb mistakes after another and had poor results, and after a hard fought loss to Japan and Taiwan I had almost given up hope
Im so proud of our players for fighting hard and getting the results we hoped for. Hats off to Taiwan and Australia, they couldn’t have made it any more competitive and interesting
I am not Korean but I watched the KBO every morning since 2020 and given my heavy consumption of Korean baseball and kpop I might as well be honorary. I was very proud today watching.
