   didnt he get a shirt signed by the team too and photo with satoria that time.

   I think someone said that the baseball in czech got better reputation/interest after 2023 and its because of this small things like international/japanese fans appreciating what satoria did and celebrating it.

   – Ohtani is a true lover of the game and wants to see the sport grow

   Or

   – Ohtani enjoys wearing trophies of his defeated enemies

   I mean, it could be both too, or something completely unrelated.

   Sho’s hyping up of Czechia post-WBC was one of the coolest things. Dude’s continually growing the game in the US, taking it to another level in Japan, and even growing it in Europe.
