I don’t like the call, doesn’t look like he got to the plate. But it’s one of those that doesn’t seem to have enough evidence to overturn either way, it is what it is.

I’m gonna start off by saying that the right side is pretty clearly ahead of the left side. It is not synced up.
If his hand is touching the ground (I’m blaming Machado from blocking the view of the plate on the right side, so we cannot be 100% sure if he got in lol), he does barely graze the top of the plate. On the right side, his bottom leg is straight when it’s tagged, and so when we look at the left side for when that leg is straight, it occurs after when that graze of the plate would’ve happened. So, if his hand is on the ground, he beat the tag and is safe.

Looks literally 50/50 without another close view from the top angle.
I can barely even see him touch the plate he must’ve gotten like 2 fingers on it

Amazing sliding technique. I’m blown away by their quick thinking and decision-making in the heat of the moment.

The rules are that there needs to be enough evidence to overturn the call, so it has to prove hes definitely out not just he might or might not be out.
