I just realized how terrible it would feel getting knocked out of the tournament getting mercy ruled and then watching that team celebrate hilariously at home plate

Classy group. I’ve been pulling for DR but hate to see these guys eliminated.
They made it to Miami but at the end of the day they ran up against a hot team and the pitching just couldn’t hold up.
Curious what reaction is in Korea after this, whether there will be a more serious push to develop better pitching. KBO has long had history of shaky relief

Catastrophic loss for Team Korea. Travelled all the way from Japan to America to just get mercy ruled like that. But then again, they lost to Taiwan. Losing might have been inevitable. Congrats Team DR!!!
Doesn’t mean they aren’t all amazing players and didn’t fight a good fight to get to this stage. The Dominicans are just a force of baseball right now.
This cancelled out everything they achieved before this game which really wasnt even much anyway.. the place ride home is about to be torturous knowing that they will have to face the media in Korea..finna be a whole lotto bowing and apologizing
