The thing they’ve got going for them is that they probably can’t pitch Skenes for very many innings since it’s basically still spring training. Best bet may be to try to just string out the at bats and then hope for some luck against the bullpen

Skenes is the best pitcher in the world but I think DR gonna touch him up. Either way, it’s gonna be a spectacular matchup.

The DR hitters thus far have been able to capitalize on mistakes (The big name US hitters seem a little rusty still), so it’s really up to Skenes on how many mistakes he makes.

OFC these were the best players on their team so in tough spots he could pitch around the guys but there won’t be any letup.

I think it’s the fact that the game is being played in March and Paul Skenes won’t be able to throw a complete game. 5 innings is being realistic and 6 innings is wishful thinking. If DR can keep it close which with the no fun US lineup seems very possible. Whatever small lead the US has could disappear in one inning.
