At the end of the day, always throw your hardest when it all comes down to it

Palencia went right through them
Super_Security8870
Team USA offense was so dogshit today. GG It wasn’t their night.

Has the US considered not going down 3-2?

NGL, Shohei vs. Harper doesn’t feel like it was three years ago

Ohtani’s pitch still stuns me every time I see it. It’s comedically filthy
Sharp-Room-8235
Cool comparison but the empty space in the second clip is killing me lol

Did 2023 USA’s catcher burn a bridge with their teammate and then go 0 for 9 too?
RainbowSupernova8196
They should’ve brought in Enmanuel De Jesus to add even more salt to the wound.

I mean kinda. That Ohtani pitch, I’ve seen it a hundred times. But every single time, the break on that ball shocks me again.

One was the greatest moment in baseball history
the other was the US getting what it had coming

Can get used to this 🙂

People were saying Roman Anthony was going to be the next Mike Trout

They Still don’t beat Fernando Rodney’s pose when the DR won though.

Ending? What do you mean? We *punched* our ticket?

If it was Japan or the DR I get it, but this is fucking embarrassing for all but like 5 dudes on this US team. Props to Venezuela for caring and leaving it all out there
Akipella
Amazing
The_Jackoooist
I was rooting for Venezuela but I was also rooting for the brutal ego check on Team USA and I got everything I wanted and more.
Their team thought being dicks and acting like military bros would give them a competitive edge that would make them untouchable.
To see them get so close and lose in the same fashion they lost last time is nothing but sweet ironic justice.
War-Dragonite
The 2023 Japan team was crazy stacked.
retroanduwu24
nah the U.S had more energy

Won’t happen again next time… because we aren’t making it out of pool play next time
JackColwell
It feels weird to see the first half without Joe Davis’, “he struck him out!”
AccessNo5242
Only Japan scored more runs in the elimination rounds against Venezuela. And Japan’s pitching was not great this year otherwise we’d get that iconic Shohei sending off Judge again this year.

Even the glove tosses were identical!
