that’s gotta be changed sometime. get that it has to be a quick decision, but that’s just silly
Fair, but that also means the umpires need to be quick about calling strikes. Sometimes they deke the hitter when they slightly delay the call.

As much as I can’t stand guys pimping their walls before the call, this is a stupid “wrinkle.”
So willyer Abreu was able to throw his bat and gloves away and still challenge it or is this bc he twirled his bat?
