What the fuck did this guy do this morning, have some breakfast beers?

  3. SnooCauliflowers9981

🤦 – This guy is so frustrating. It’s just obnoxious seeing someone who has all the tools, that dgaf’s.

I legit don’t know if I ever seen a single worse game. Two horrendous outfield plays, being the first player to have an ABS call overturned on to strike you out, and then you fling your bat on an ugly strikeout

I’ve never seen more deviation between tools to actual talent level than ONeil Cruz. Like dude has every possible physical gift you can ask for and yet he just can’t put it together.

  6. IllogicalBarnacle

Cruz is what happens when you scout someone purely off potential and physical skills

    he’s a physical freak, he’s not a baseball player

Cruz is the definition of overhyped. Bad hitter and has no true position. Can’t even DH him because his bat below average.

We will see this game in documentaries.

“After that game, he just never recovered. Worst case of the yips I’ve ever seen”.

This dude is so frustrating to watch.

It’s funny, Fangraphs just hired a prospect writer who was a former Pirates employee in the scouting department, and when asked in a chat if he thought Cruz would improve this year being surrounded by more veteran players who might take him under their wing, he bluntly said « No »

he should toss his glove as well.

maybe the pirates could also accidently misplace all his bats.

why won’t the pirates cut ties with him? it’s not like he’s 20 years old making rookie mistakes. he’s 27 and has not improved in any area since entering the league.

I feel like I’ve seen him do this a lot

I know it’s not how WAR works but this man has earned a -1 WAR on today’s performance.

Cruz and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day
