Hier soir, Chase DeLauter est devenu le 7ème joueur de l’histoire de la MLB avec 2 circuits lors de ses débuts en MLB. Le premier depuis Trevor Story en 2016.

That’s my boy. Maybe we finally developed a power hitter!
* Regular Season debut. He was in the wild card game last post season.
Still, we’ve been waiting for this guy for what seems like forever as the power we’ve been lacking. Hoping he keeps on mashing with that quick, but crazy powerful, short swing.
I remember there was a comment earlier in the day on a post talking about all the MLB debut stats of McGonigle, Weatherholt, Benge, Crawford, Murakami that said “wait for DeLauter to hit 4 grand slams” when another comment said one was not like the others (most went like 1-X, 1 HR, RBI etc while McGonigle went 4-5? With 2 2B 2 RBI). I think 3-5 with 2HR is pretty good, not as good as 4 grand slams but 2HR is still an amazing debut
Definitely not me getting misty at the clips of the family, absolutely not me
It’s beautiful
As one from CLE that moved away, love the Tribe. Scrolling though Reddit immediately recognized the voice. Rick Manning and Tom Hamilton I need back in my life listening to ball games.
Clevelands Grady Sizemore 2.0.
Injuries included.
We went from Jonathon Rodriguez playing RF in game 1 of the WC vs Detroit last year, to DFA’ing him this spring and finally having DeLauter play RF.
Lol. Tad bit of an upgrade.
