Inning started with a pitch clock violation and ended with a successful ABS challenge

    I’ve dreamed of this day

Man, I’m so happy balls and strikes are challengeable now

Gonna be a ton more 3 pitch strike outs this season. Umpires always be shrinking the zone when batters are down 0-2. Same with the reverse too, more 4 pitch walks, umps always expand the zone when batters are up 3-0.

ABS does the players so much justice, who knows how many more pitches Schlittler would’ve had to waste

This type of situation will probably be one of the biggest adjustments for hitters. Usually if you went down 0-2 on 2 pitches, the ump would sometimes give hitters the borderline pitch.

we’re gonna see far less of catchers stealing strikes away from the pitchers this season, look at how wells(?) snaps his glove out when receiving the ball singalling to the ump that it is maybe outside. Without that it’s going to be a very different season for catchers because both what I dub anti framing and positive framing are largely dimished

These will never ever get old.

Unless you are a human element enjoyer in which case you’re fuming from the ears.

Did ABS always have that countdown?
