The wbc needs to happen during the all star break or something. Just make the break two weeks long when the tournament is scheduled.
That much intensity before most of these dudes don’t have their swings at 100 percent yet is just bad for the major league product.

~115 wRC+ is fantastic for a catcher but let’s not pretend he was some otherworldly hitter.
