That was fast enough given you have to wait and see if the umpire is going to call it a strike. Probably need to work on having umpires drop any delay in calls and be clear on balls if they are going to be strict on the speed of challenges.

I have been loving ABS
I knew I was gonna like the ABS system but I did not realize how exciting and dramatic these reversals would be. The crowd goes crazy.
The pitcher literally challenged less than two full seconds after the ball call. Surely he was mad about something else right?
Between this and the tilt challenge earlier in the game I am eagerly awaiting the shenanigans that will ensue from ABS this year.

The whole « gotta challenge immediately » thing is wonky when umps sometimes take a second to make a call, and especially when the signal for a ball is to do nothing.
