MLB rather you sip your tea and watch cricket instead

Not for nothing, but it is working currently in Australia

Are they on Sky? I vaguely remember that being mentioned as a partner with Peacock.

If they don’t give you a legal way to watch, at that point there’s no legit moral reason to not pirate.

Have you tried a VPN? I have to use one to watch Jays games on Sportsnet when I’m in Europe.  Should work for connecting to Peacock.

  6. It’s on TNT sports in the UK (and maybe Ireland?) so that could be why it’s blacked out

Gotta respect the « Well, that’s not fair! » argument as if the response was gonna be « Oh damn you right, we don’t want to be unfair, here’s the game! »

It’s a major pain, sports networks in Canada own the Peacock games and postseason and black them out from MLB TV too.

The Apple TV games are probably blacked out too, they are in Canada.

I’m not into buying additional subscriptions to watch what I have already paid for.

u/mlbofficial out here like ‘new fans? Fuck them, we dont want that’

That’s fucking stupid though usually when there is a streaming blackout because the country has some other entity with the rights to games. Like the opening day Netflix game was shown on TV here in Canada and was not available on Netflix

Yeah, welcome to MLB not actually caring about fans.

  13. lableedsblue

Wait till you find out Netflix and Apple TV+ games.

Because MLB doesn’t give a fuck about fans

  15. Stickning

No one owes MLB anything, watch any way you can.

I love baseball, but the MLB is one of the most anti-consumer organizations on the planet.

Baseball’s Blackout rules are actively sabotaging the sport’s potential growth. Removing these rules should be high up on the priorities list for the MLB, accessibility is important for the exposure of baseball!

I remember people giving me shit when I said that NBC/Peacock getting a slice of the baseball pie wouldn’t make it easier for fans to watch games.

Just wait until people find out some early window games will be Peacock exclusive like I pointed out months ago and got down voted for saying I would just pirate anything NBC puts out baseball wise if that’s their intended baseball model.
