That was great. Wish turning off commentary was a toggle.
Low-Acanthisitta2150
I would pay 4.99 a month for this or less.
amattcat
Would literally pay extra money for this
Lucky_Alternative965

PickTheStickApp
Too bad this wasnt the case for that MLB opener on netflix
michigan_matt
I like how they had « Audio Difficulties » ready to hit on speed dial
officialheckle
The broadcast being out just speeds up the part where you come read my recap instead
No_Cryptographer3708
Love benetti and dirks honestly
acat114
Hot take: I love commentary. The raw sights and sounds is awesome for an occasional thing but good announcers bring a lot to a game. Lots of knowledge sharing, adds to the high moments, builds a story. People would miss it more than they think.
ertapenem
When they came back they spent 30 seconds talking about a blender and an açaí bowl.

Apple TV used to do an inning now and then with just stadium noise and I loved it.
Fragrant_Bluebird469
I often just mute the broadcast and listen to audiobooks. It’s nice. Hockey too
Snerkbot7000
Reminds me of a game where they got rained on pretty hard at Wrigley, and the cameras went to a remote system. It was wide angle, no panning or snap zooms. Kind of like the original baseball broadcasts from the 60s.
Unintentionally a better product.

Beautiful!
IMissM0dernBaseball
Pure bliss
kidfromhomealone
No disrespect to any broadcasters but I would pay extra for this feature some times I just want the sound bath of the stadium
TimTom8921
This needs to be an option
reallyneat
the tin can they normally use must have rusted through
HipnotiK1
This happened in MMA (UFC) a couple times and it was awesome
HELLACOLYTE
An inning of this every once in a while would be nice. I definitely like the announcers in baseball more than any other sport though
TwoHandSquid
Happened to me watching one of the Angels freeway series games. Heard audio from the guys filming b roll of fans entering Dodger stadium but no announcers. Was a good half inning before I made the mistake of restarting the stream.
Pies_Wide_Shut
Ballpark sounds + TV views are the best combo

This is my dream

Wish they hadn’t fixed it.

Begging for this to be an option full time.
teewertz
This should always be an option
jc6146
I don’t care how good the commentary is. The sounds of the stadium will always be better on there own
cmgriffith_
This was awesome. The option should always be available
Logical-Marketing975
I’ve said for years I’d love a feed on mlb tv or whatever that’s just the stadium.

It was glorious. I wish I could watch games like that
RainbowSupernova8196
I just wish MLB still did the same thing for playoff games, nowadays.
WordNahMean
Honestly, feels a lot more like im at the actual ballpark this way instead of having 2-3 guys telling me whats happening while Im watching it happen
MrBoomf
I want this but on purpose

Sounds like a great time tbh. Too bad it’s on Peacock.
Difficult-Tip-758
Anyone else feel a noticeable decline in the big-time, event-like feel of this game versus ESPN’s Sunday night broadcasts?

It’s kinda nice.
Dream broadcast tbh
Update: they are back after the commercial break
Best 45 seconds of the broadcast
