I read some where last year that is almost been ten years since someone has charged the mound.
Contreras has two problems: 1) he tends to lean in as he swings and 2) he has no ability to recognize pitches running in on him. So he gets hit a lot, especially in the hand area and since he’s a hot head anyway he gets mad a lot. And since the best way to get him out is to pitch him in on the hands I don’t see this getting better anytime soon.
Dude needs to grow a pair of balls.
