    Vladdy gets the benefit of the doubt on that play. He could have eaten it for sure, but it was going to be a tough play regardless and his center of gravity was taking him away from the bag.

    Valenzuela however, does not get such an excuse. That’s an easy toss, how do you screw that up? Nobody running, play is basically dead. Or why even toss it at all? Not like the guy’s going to take off for second.
