I wish Keith would adopt me. I mean…uh, cool moment.

As a Knicks fan, I’m used to having the best booth in the league. But I gotta admit that the Mets booth is better than the Yankees and my favorite to listen to, also loved the Gary Cohen days.

  3. This kind of detailed x’s and o’s analysis is almost always missing from national broadcasts these days. Like national broadcasts want to appeal to the largest possible audience but in doing so they often feel like the broadcast teams know less than the fans watching the game.

This is a big part of what fans love about their local broadcast teams.

  4. Cool moment, but the ball was way to the 1B side of the hole anyway, so that was going to be a hit no matter where the 2B was. (Unless the size of the hole is what made Bichette try to go oppo, but it’s hard to say.)

Bichette lining it between first and second with two strikes is about as consistent as it gets, great call by Keith.

Later in this game, Luis Robert challenged a strike call, which was clearly low, and Keith said “nope. That’s not a ball. It’s not low.” ABS then showed that it was about 2 inches low.

So 1 for 2 on the day for Keith.
