Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de la MLB, une équipe avec un « A » comme logo principal, les Braves, ont affronté successivement toutes les autres équipes portant le logo « A ». (Les Athletics, les Diamondbacks et les Angels)

I’ve been calling it the AAAAAA! series with my friends

What am I supposed to do with this information
At first I thought this one would be a bit more difficult to verify, but realistically it hasn’t even been in contention since every year inter-league play started in 2022. And since then, it looks like 2026 is the first completed ‘A’ gauntlet by an ‘A’ team.
Depending on the outcome of this afternoon’s game, the Braves will finish this stretch either 6-4 or 5-5
These are the baseball stats that I live for
First designated hitters, then inter league play, pitch clocks and ABS umpires…now teams with “A”s on their logos are playing in multi-consecutive series’!! Where does it end? I barely recognize the sport anymore. Fuck you Rob Manfred.
And (technically) half those teams don’t use a city designation as their cap logo, when the overwhelming majority of MLB teams do.
A’s really lucked out(?) using such a portable insignia.
Alright
1903, the athletics and boston americans started the season playing one another. they were the only a team at the time.
Okay
Don’t forget that our GM is AA.
tight
They should play Boston and all the C teams next
