Really it’s almost all « Team ABS Catcher Challenges », through yesterday of the 376 challenges issued by fielding teams only 14 have been by the pitcher and they are sitting at 50% – no pitcher has issued more than one challenge and only the Phillies have had more than one pitcher challenge (Jesus Lazardo’s success only slightly makes up for Zach Pop and Christopher Sanchez’s bad calls).
As always, credit to u/aweinschenker and u/Mispelling for the hand drawn logos.

We have a 100% rate?
Edit: oh I see, misread it as 10 challenges not 11. So 10/11

Can you make it challenges per game or three-game series or something?

I am shocked Atlanta isn’t up there with the A’s lol.

Something these kind of measurements will have to account for is that later in the game if you have a challenge (or challenges), you should use it if there is a call that is even remotely close – even if you don’t believe you’re gonna win – just because you either use them or lose them. Like I’m sure we’ll see plenty of batters challenge if they strike out looking to end a game even if they know it was a good call – because why not? There’s nothing to lose at that point.
Don’t really know the best way to account for these outliers and it will likely be some time before we see them happen repetitively – but I think the challenge should have a different weight based on when the challenge happens, what the situation is, and how far within/outside the strike zone it was.

Can someone help me find the Brewers?

Yeah we need to ban Keibert from challenging or something. It’s not good.

Our bats need to lose their ability to challenge, they’re awful at it

Logan O’Hoppe should be the only one challenging on the Angels

I think run value instead of success rate would be a better metric here
