As someone who just had a traumatic brain injury in the last month, I wish the best for Meadows and hope he has a speedy recovery… The road can be long.

This is a concussion that could end a season in the NFL even if it happened early in the season (unless it happened to Tua of course, but he’s already punch drunk anyways…). That was really ugly. He was already out while still in the air, and the ground collision compounded it.
For a baseball player to be kept overnight after being admitted in the afternoon, that has to be bad. They’ll do anything to get out of there. And “this one worries me.” Not good. Not good at all. I hope nothing is seriously wrong and he gets lots and lots of rest and doesn’t hurry back.

That’s a very scary comment from Hinch. I’m hoping it’s just going to be some time spent on the concussion protocol and an extended stay in Minneapolis before he gets the all clear to fly and rejoin the team.
