I know that « RPM » is a well-known unit to people, but I wonder if saying « 56.8 revolutions per **second** » would make it more intuitive and impressive.

Not very often that you see a pitcher make Freddie look lost at the plate. I think it was Freddie’s strikeout before this that really showed how much he was guessing. McLean was just straight filth last night.
