Fuck man. This one hits hard. Loved watching GA when I was young. Thanks for 2002, and the 15 years with the org. Rest easy Garret.

  2. What the fuck man. One of my childhood favorites. R.I.P.

The Angels will be wearing a uniform patch in memory of him for the remainder of the 2026 season.

Heard he was a big part in the Angels WS win back in 2002.
    Rest in peace big dawg.

Wow, this was so unexpected. GA is a core player of my childhood. All time Angel.

Awh, this hurts. GA was one my favorite players growing up. 😢

Used to love to hate him as a kid as he terrorized my M’s teams. RIP GA.

I’m almost 40 and seeing guys I’ve watched play pass away is so foreign to me and shocks me a bit. Way too soon.

  14. He’s the LF in the here comes the pizza scene

RIP to one of hell of a player

Man… this guy was awesome to watch in the early to mid 2000’s, such a sweet lefty swing. RIP.

One of those 2000s guys who got overshadowed by the likes of ARod, Bonds, Pujols, but GA had a great peak. For a good while he was like a 30hr/100RBI .300 BA kinda guy.

  17. Vinnie1222

Man what the fuck? Wasn’t expecting this at all today. RIP Garrett

  18. Jason82929

Rest in peace, GA. And man, did I love your cards in *The Show*. May they live on alongside your soul in eternal paradise.

Always loved watching Garrett Anderson play—this Mariners fan is sending love to the Angels community today!

WTF. Anderson was one my favorites of that era. He’s so young.

  22. This really hurts. One of our all time greats and a total class act. The Angels and the OC community lost a good one today way too young. RIP GA
