Downvoted for being grammatically correct. That’s a first.
Feel moderately confident it’ll be 6 once McLean hits start # 20
How many IP for each of these guys?
Just went down the Gary Nolan rabbit hole. He was 19 years old in his debut season
I like how they made the ERA threshold 2.70 instead of 2.60 so it could include another player. It makes it feel less cherry picked
First time in the Golden Knights era
I’m surprised Doc Gooden didn’t make this list, but I assume he had a few too many BBs
Way to go, Shittler!
Looking forward to watching his documentary “The Third Streich”
and how many have had the word hitler in their name
Very early to say since he has only 20 starts, but it feels nice to see the Yankees may have finally developed themselves a guy who can be a Top 5 pitcher in baseball.
The Yankees for all their history have not really developed many true top of the rotation arms. Severino was looking like one early on, but shoulder and arm injuries ended that dream. Chien-Ming Wang was another before he tore ligaments on his foot running the bases and was never the same. Before that you have to go back to guys like Pettitte, Guidry, then all the way back to Whitey.
