Roki is 24 right? Obviously not too late for him to turn things around but why does everyone talk about this guy like he’s a raw 19 year old considering he also spent what 2-3 years in Japanese professional baseball?
The main problem with Roki is that his fastball is ass
His splitter and slider are good but teams don’t respect his fastball because he can’t hit corners
If he could consistently hit corners, he’d be a good starter. The amount of two strike counts he can’t finish off because his fastball either is middle up or five feet off the plate
Do those two guys know anything about pitching?

they knew he was a work in progress when they signed him. He is young and hadnt pitch that many innings in Japan.. He is surely progressing. Dodgers have developed many pitchers.
