Umpires aren’t always good at umpiring (honestly they usually are), but they’re always good at picking fights.
Were they out of ABS challenges?

I don’t like to defend the Umps but Baty was having a little tantrum right there, throwing his bat and equipment.
Name and shame the umpire.
It was close and the batter walked away clearly a bit peeved. The ump getting offended over it is pretty lame

Im not happy with the challenge system because it flat out doesn’t work but they need to train these umps better like they need to train anyone in a position of “power” better. You got cops killing people just because and we got umps pr refs in any league just throwing around “because I said so” with zero repercussions.
This is unprofessional as hell from that ump, there’s zero reason to say anything to the batter there.
