  1. When I heard Chad Tracy was being promoted I thought, that’s cool, I remember liking him when he played for the Diamondbacks. When I saw a picture of the new Red Sox manager I was very confused.

  2. Baseball is so fucking funny for this. Of course, there is a second Chad Tracy.

Wrong Chad Tracy, but right Alex Cora. That’s him playing second for the Dodgers.

Edit: There were FOUR future managers on the field for the Dodgers! Dave Roberts, Alex Cora, Robin Ventura, and David Ross!

« Eric Gagne comes back to join the rest of us mere mortals for just a moment » is a great line

An 84 game save streak is just bonkers. I remember how dominant Gagne looked then too. I was pitching in high school and his changeup was as fast as my fastball but it also moved like a reverse curveball at the same time. Madness

Wait… so it ISN’T the same Chad Tracy?? I’ve been assuming it was ever since the announcement was made.
