At least they’re based *in* Anaheim still. Several umpires have called the Athletics Oakland this season.
He obviously should have called them « Los Angeles of Anaheim »

Could be worse, could you imagine accidentally calling the Nationals « Montreal » during a game?
More like the Angeles accidentally called themselves « Los Angeles ».
Forcing ‘Los Angeles’ onto the club name is ~~perhaps~~ Arte’s greatest crime of whoring the Angels baseball franchise in his ownership.
