The Padres were pulling the good ole Clint Hurdle Pirates strategy of only pitching up and in. Think they hit 4 guys and had about 10 balls around the head in this series.
Cubs did a nice job not making a bigger deal out of it. Was a bit ridiculous
Waldron was most snooker up than Nico lmao
Edit: what the fuck is iPhone autocorrect now
**waldron was most shooken up than Nico lmao
Thought Nico had cartoon birds swirling around his head for a second there!
As far as immediate pain getting hit in the helmet was always the best place in my opinion. Probably not good for your brain though.
Wow if this (and I’m sure it did) happened back in the day that may have been career ending if not worse. Crazy how good modern helmets are.
they should get a free run for that shit, dangerous!
That’s a pretty good helmet ‘do.
The little fake stumble he does after getting hit is really funny
That’s our 2026 NL MVP!
Totally wild how the Padres threw at/to the back of/ inside to the cubs did we miss some kind of beef,
What?? If you turn your head into the field towards the 90 mph ball it will hit you, good thing he knew to turn the other way. What kind of commentary is this?
