I would argue it went exactly as planned. They got into weird skating poses and tried to throw baseballs, with expected results.
I feel like they were definitely winging it and had a vague concept of what they were gonna do and tried to figure it out on the grass. Nice attempt, it would have been pretty cool if they pulled it off
